Protection coverage

Lost Device

We'll replace it if your device disappears. We only ask that you return the device to us if you find it.

Cracked Screen? Dropped in water?

We know that accidents sometimes happen. If your device gets accidently damaged, send it to us and we'll send you a replacement.

Stolen From You

We'll send you a replacement device if you become a victim of theft or burglary. Just send us a police report, and your device is on the way.

Mechanical Breakdown

We want you to have a working phone for the life of your carrier contract. If your device breaks down after the manufacturer's warranty expires, send it to us and we'll send you a replacement.

Monitoring your credit

If your device is lost or stolen, we provide
you with access to your credit so you
can monitor it for activity for the next
three months. It's a little extra
protection that can help you
identify a big problem quickly.

 
 

 
Important Policy Terms

All insurance programs have special terms that helps us manage fraud so that good customers get the best price possible. We want you to understand these key terms from the very start.

Here are a few key numbers for you to remember about your policy

  • 14

    There is a 14 day waiting period before coverage begins
  • 12
    Policy must be purchased within 12 months of the item purchase and the device must still be under the manufacturer's warranty.
  • 2

    There is a 2 year maximum term on the policy (3 year maximum term in NY)
  • 2/12
    You are eligible for a maximum of 2 approved claims in a 12 month period. No further claims will be approved upon your 2nd approved claim until the expiration of the 12 month period has been reached.
  • 75-120
    Each claim will require you to pay a deductible:
    • $75 for basic phones and tablets
    • $100 for smartphones
    • $120 for iPhones

And here are few more important terms:

  • A receipt will be required before you file a claim with us. You can send it to us now for safe keeping or at the time of claim. If you want to send it to us now, you can directly upload the reciept or download receipt submission from here.
  • Claimed devices may be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished equipment or a different model than the original equipment.
  • The maximum replacement cost is equal to the current replacement cost per covered loss.
  • You have the right to cancel your coverage at any time without penalty and recieve a refund of any applicable unearned premium.
  • The insurance plan may duplicate other insurance coverage.
  • Data Protection products are
    provided by third party
    vendors and your rights
    regarding the use of the
    product are set fourth in
    the End User Licensing
    Agreement and their
    availability may vary by device.
 
 

 
How to claim

  • 1
    Call 1-855-792-2355. Have your policy details, proof of purchase (if not already submitted), and a credit card ready so you can move through the claims process as quickly as possible.
  • 2
    If necessary, you may need to submit claims documentation as instructed and send to you by your claims representative. You can submit these forms after you call us via scanned email (customersupport@
    mobile.protectyourbubble.com) or fax to 1-866-450-4080.
  • 3
    Your repair or replacement is on its way to your after you pay your deductible.

What to expect after your claim


  • PYB will ship your replacement device to you for next day delivery if your claim was approved by 8:00 pm.
  • Your replacement device will come with a pre-printed label to ship us your broken device. Just package it up and place it in your mailbox.
  • If you have a mechanical breakdown or accidental damage claim, return your broken device to Protect Your Bubble within 15 business days.
