QHow do I file a claim?

Filing a Rental Car Insurance claim:


Just follow these steps:

  1. Log into MyBubble and select your rental car plan. Click “File a Claim”. Select the appropriate claim form from the list. They have been organized by type of claim.
  2. Print and fill out the claim form completely. Make sure you sign the form. To ensure the quickest processing of your claim, read the instructions on the first page of your claim form and note the required documentation that you need to include.
  3. Scan and email claim form along with supporting documentation to (claims@travel.protectyourbubble.com) or fax to 1-443-279-2901. If you would prefer to mail your forms, send to:

  4. For questions during the claims process, please contact us at 855-792-8747. Payment will be issued within 2 business days after your claim has been approved.

QWhy do I need Rental Car Insurance?

When renting a car, you’ll want to insure it in case anything happens to the car. Whether it gets a little bump or in a big collision, Protect Your Bubble provides $35,000 in property damage coverage for your rental car. And unlike other Rental Car Insurance plans that make you file under your auto policy first, our plan serves as primary coverage for collision damage on your rental car*.

Our Rental Car Insurance also includes coverages for Baggage up to $500 per person.

*There may occasionally be instances in which your personal car insurance company could still be notified, such as if you caused an accident that resulted in changes to your driving history report.

QWhat does our Rental Car Insurance cover?

While it is important for you to review your plan documents for coverage levels, limitations and exclusions, our Rental Car Insurance covers Rental Car Damage and Baggage. There is a $35,000 maximum limit per policy for rental car damage and a $500 maximum limit per policy for baggage and personal effects.

You can purchase your coverage anytime prior to departure for your trip.

QWhen is it too late to purchase Rental Car Insurance?

 Unfortunately you cannot purchase coverage after your departure.  However, you can purchase coverage anytime prior to your departure.

QWhat if I change my mind?

If you purchase this plan and are not satisfied, contact Protect Your Bubble at 855-PYB-TRIP to cancel. If you haven't already left on your trip or filed a claim, you will receive a complete refund.

QWhen do I file my claim?

Claim must be submitted within 90 days after a loss occurs.

QHow can I get a copy of my plan?

You can always view your plan by logging into MyBubble. Simply log into your account and select “View Plan”.  You can also contact the Customer Support Center and someone can ensure you receive a copy of your plan.  The Customer Support Center's toll free number is 1-855-792-8747.  It is open Monday-Friday from 9AM to 9AM ET and Saturday-Sunday 9AM to 6PM ET.

QWhat is included with Concierge Services**?

You can contact emergency assistance services for Concierge Service. This service includes assistance with rental car reservations, airline reservations, hotel accommodations, pet services locator, restaurant reviews and reservations, event ticketing, city profiles, epicurean needs, flowers and gift baskets, golf outing and tee times, meet-and greet services, personalized retail shopping assistance, pre-trip assistance and more!

QWhat is 24-Hour Roadside Assistance include?

24-Hour Roadside Assistance is the access to the following services:
  • Towing Service
  • Battery Jump/Minor Roadside Adjustments
  • Flat Tire Change: A flat tire will be changed with the insured’s spare tire
  • Fuel Delivery
  • Vehicle Winching/Extraction: Your vehicle will be winched if it is stuck in a ditch, mud or snow as long as it is accessible from a normally traveled roadway.
  • Locksmith Services

QHow many times can I use my 24-Hour Roadside Assistance?

There is limit of 2 claims per trip.

QWhat there is not a covered service provider in the area?

You can enlist services from a non covered provider and we will reimburse you up to $80.

QHow far can I be towed with a Roadside Assistance Plan?

The first 5 miles is covered, but there is a $2 fee per mile after.
