iPad Mini Announcement Fails to Appear

UPDATE: The iPad Mini is here! After an announcement with live streaming for the first time in two years, Apple has welcomed the iPad Mini to the family, along with a new iPad 4.

For those you refreshing your inbox for an iPad mini invite, it may be time to call off the watch. Apple historically has sent it’s invites between 8 AM and 9 AM PST; today, no such invite came through.

Also a habit for previous announcements, Apple typically sends invites out 7 days before an official announcement–Without an announcement today, it’s likely that we won’t be seeing an Apple Mini next week.

Philip Elmer-DeWitt from CNN Money offers one the best summaries of today’s lack of news.

Are you disappointed at the lack of an iPad Mini? There’s a chance that one still could be announced tomorrow, or possibly even next week, still in time for holiday rush orders. The Protect Your Bubble team will continue to monitor the news so that we’re sure to update you should any announcements come through.
