We’re really excited to announce our partnership with Irina Falconi, American Tennis player.
Follow American professional tennis player Irina Falconi as she tries to qualify for Wimbledon! Irina was introduced to tennis at age 4 by her father. She attended Georgia Tech for two years under Coach Bryan Shelton before turning pro. A former College Player of the Year and two-time All-American at Georgia Tech, Irina qualified at three straight Grand Slam events after turning pro in 2010, and has been ranked inside the top 75 in the world. And her goal is to win the Grand Slam title.
In addition to her on-court skills, Irina loves to write about her off-court adventures on the tour as a featured blogger for numerous media outlets and professional tournaments.
She loves to blog her everyday life using her smartphones and tablets plus as an athlete, she’s always on the go. What Irina has to say about her lifestyle: “Two years ago, I remember finishing a match, and about two minutes after I was done, the rain started. It didn’t stop for three days. How do you think us tennis players deal with that? The answer is internet. And books. Lots of music. And games. Cards, Uno, backgammon, and the wonderful Skype.”
A gadget girl, this week Irina is blogging live from London on her iPad, which has been insured by ProtectYourBubble.com!
For many of us especially Irina Falconi, the need to stay connected, even on our holidays or travel, to the internet for business and personal reasons has become increasingly important. The latest technology allows us to be in contact constantly and many people already wonder how they ever managed in dark ages before the tablet and the omnipresent smartphone. Of course, all of this technology comes at a price, and even if you leave the laptop at home and just travel with your tablet and smartphone, you are likely to be packing up to $1000 of technology into your travel bags.
